The 28th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, was held from March 11 to 14, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. As the largest cross-media and cross-industry film and television entertainment trade exhibition in Asia, this edition attracted industry professionals and audiences from around the world, providing an important platform for international trade and exchange in the fields of film, television, and digital entertainment. More than 750 exhibitors from 25 countries participated in the exhibition, bringing a diverse range of content, aiming to engage in dialogue and collaboration with film and television peers from both home and abroad, and jointly seeking development opportunities.
As a technology and culture enterprise with content creation as its core, Ola Animation has continuously delved into the field of original children's animation in recent years, launching a series of high-quality original works that have been widely recognized by the industry.
At this Hong Kong International Film & TV Market, Aola Animation, as a member of the Jiangsu Pavilion, exhibited original animation projects such as the new series of "Kiki & Nuna-Beautiful New World," "Shining Girls," "Dino Detective Agency," and "Mystery of Haunster."
《Beautiful New World》
The theme of "Beautiful New World" is aesthetic education. It tells the story of Kiki, Nuna, and their friends living together in a small town. They always discover various beautiful scenes and things in their daily lives. Whenever this happens, Dada Train comes to their side, taking the children into a fantastic and imaginative world to get closer to, feel, and understand the beauty of these things. The film aims to enhance children's aesthetic appreciation and cognition, as well as their autonomy in exploring the world and discovering beauty.
《Shining Girls》
"Shining Girls" tells the story of Xia Ling, a mermaid girl, who saves Mei Duo and Lu Ran, two human girls who are in crisis while trying to form a band. The three girls, who share similar interests, immediately hit it off and form the "Shining Girl" band. On their musical journey, they practice diligently and overcome obstacles. On the road of growing up, they understand each other, support each other, and make progress together, ultimately realizing their individual self-worth and musical dreams.
《Dino Detective Agency》
"Dino Detective Agency" tells the story of little dinosaur Xinghuo and his partners who open a detective agency together. Whenever a child sends a distress signal, they transform into superheroes and board a mini-spaceship to enter the child's bodily world for rescue missions. The dinosaur detectives search for clues in this colorful human body world, helping children restore their health while also educating them on various health tips and knowledge.
《Mystery of Haunster》
In the story of "Mystery of ," there are two worlds: the real world and the fantastical world. In the fantastical world, there are various dream monsters that represent fear, as well as spirits that guard the hearts of children. Children must cooperate with the spirits in this fantastical world to overcome the monsters that represent fear, weaknesses, and bad habits, allowing their hearts to grow and develop.
Our original projects have also attracted numerous film and television companies as well as industry professionals from around the world to discuss potential collaborations. Both sides have conducted in-depth exchanges on project content, technical support, and market promotion, demonstrating strong willingness and potential for cooperation.
