From August 23rd to 25th, the 2022 International (Nanjing) Cartoon-Animation Venture Capital Conference was held in Nanjing. The conference is guided by Jiangsu Provincial Radio and Television Administration, hosted by the Publicity Department of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Nanjing Radio and Television Group, co-organized by Jiangsu Film and Television Animation Association and Jiangsu Garden Expo Park, and implemented by the Entertainment, Culture and Creative Department of Nanjing Radio and Television Group (Nanjing University Student Channel).
The 2022 ICVAC collected proposals for 113 animation works from all over the world. After three rounds of evaluation by the organizing committee, a total of 18 well-made animation works with distinct themes were shortlisted for the on-site proposal roadshow unit.
Shining Girls produced by Suzhou Aola Animation Technology Co., Ltd. and Dino Detective Agency jointly produced by Suzhou Leaping Dolphin Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Aola Animation Technology Co., Ltd. were shortlisted.
Shining Girls tells the story of two human girls with musical dreams who meet Xia Ling, a mermaid girl with an ethereal singing voice, and the three embark on a youth music journey together.
Dino Detective Agency tells the story of dino detective Xinghuo and his four partners who jointly opened a dino detective agency, specializing in solving various health problems, and at the same time popularizing various health tips and good living habits to children！
At the conference, a number of professional activities for animation creativity and docking, and product integration, such as "Summit Forum", "Animation Film Screening", "Proposal Project Roadshow", "One-on-one Discussion", "International Exchange and Transaction Session" and "Jinling 'Manga' Talk" were held around supporting project development, IP transformation results, authoritative information release, investment and financing docking, etc. Among them, "one-on-one negotiation" provides a professional communication channel, so that the project can be paid more attention to and understood in face-to-face communication.
Through the three links of on-site roadshow, defense and judges' scoring, Shining Girls was finally shortlisted for the 2022 ICAVC support project together with A Cat Named Schrödinger and other excellent works.
